"How to Blow Their Socks Off - Even with PowerPoint"
Presented by:  Dr. Billy Earnest, Communications Professor at St. Edwards University in Austin and author of Save Our Slides

Key Learning Objectives:

1. Understand how on-screen presentations are fundamentally different from traditional formats like print, and what those differences mean for effective communication.
2. Master the principles of design in four all-important areas: font style, text size, word count, and color contrast.
3. Appreciate the dangers of "rapport-killers" (like crazy special effects) and the critical importance of using spatial logic and other forms of visual thinking.
4. Know how to create charts and other visuals that will have your audience shouting, "Good graph!" instead of mumbling, "Good grief."
