Modern organizations operate during a time of great innovation and technological disruption. Organizations need to be able to effectively form project teams and teach people new skills. Games are one tool for engaging and motivating employees to work as a team and learn a broad range of skills in a short period of time. This session will introduce participants to game mechanics, provide examples of how games can be used for team building and skill development, and challenge participants to discuss how game mechanics can help accounting teams and organizations thrive. Participants will engage in a group activity where they apply basic game mechanics to solve real problems.
